FOUR AMERICANS KIDNAPPED AT GUNPOINT

Four Americans were kidnapped at gun point shortly after they crossed over the Mexico border. At gunpoint they were dragged out of their vehicle and loaded on the bed of truck by the Mexican cartel.

The incident was caught on video and released soon after the kidnapping went down. It’s been disclosed none of the Americans have any previous dealings the cartel. They were visiting the country for a plastic surgery procedure. Mexico has been a popular destination for years by Americans looking for cheap cosmetic procedures.

“All four Americans were placed in a vehicle and taken from the scene by armed men,” the FBI said in a statement. The law enforcement agency is offering $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of the kidnappers.

In the video several men in bulletproof vests are pointing guns at the Americans. The four leave their white minivan peacefully and get in the back of a white truck. The busy road is cut off by the truck. Other drivers are parked, observing the kidnapping, taking video.

Crime scene photos show the damage done to the American vehicle — the driver’s window has a bullet hole, shattered glass and the front bumper is totaled.

The Americans were discovered in a remote cabin. Two were killed, one was wounded and the fourth person, a female, was unharmed. The Mexican authority said that they believe the cartel hit on the Americans was a case of mistaken identity.

“We’re very sorry to have this happen in our country and we send our condolences to the families of the victims, their friends, to the people of the United States,” President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador told an earlier news conference.(First reported by Reuters)

The bodies of the two along with the survivals arrived back home not long after they were found. The case is under investigation by the Mexican police.
